About Orielle Hope
Orielle, a native of Hamden, Connecticut, received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from Winston-Salem State University and a Master of Science degree in Human Resources (Business and Industry) from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University. At A&T, Orielle was inducted into The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi reserved for the top 10% of graduate students achieving a 4.0 status. She served as the 2013 President of the Winston-Salem Society for Human Resource Management (WSSHRM) and various WSSHRM Board of Director roles throughout the years. Orielle remains an active board member currently serving as SHRM Foundation Director. Orielle received the 2011 WSSHRM President’s Award for her commitment and dedication to the chapter and the human resource profession. She also received the 2014 HR Professional of the Year Award. Orielle has been active with North Carolina SHRM as a previous SHRM Foundation Co-Director and is currently the Co-Chair of the State Conference Programs Committee. Orielle also received the esteemed designation as Professional in Human Resources® (PHR®).
Orielle is a dedicated community leader and public servant, recognized for her contributions with awards such as the Race Progress Promoters Program Business Award from the Efforts Club of New Bethel Baptist Church and inclusion in Winston-Salem State University's Inaugural 40 Under 40 Distinguished Alumni in 2013. A 2023 graduate of Leadership Winston-Salem, Orielle is actively engaged in her community through volunteering and serving on the boards of the Clemmons Food Pantry and The Parenting Path. She also chairs the HR Committee for Pivot Ministry and is a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated. Orielle recently received the 2024 Alumni Achiever Award for the School of Social Sciences at Winston-Salem State University.
Orielle resides in Forsyth County, North Carolina with her husband David, and in her spare time she enjoys providing career counseling to professionals in transition, putting together a good puzzle, and spending time with her family!
